I started my photography interest since my high school day and joined the photography society in the high school at age of 16.  I continued my photography interest in my university days too.  Back then I had a Ricoh camera and taking photo in Kodak or Fuji films. The film was developed and good photo was printed and filed in album. I also tried to take some slides too. I stop photography for some years and I pickup digital photographys in 2010 again.

I am interested in capturing the moments of landscape, people and event photos at the start, and experience with various photography techniques and creative framing. I tried many types of lenses (wide angle, fixed lenses to super zoom) and playing with tripod, flash, filters, long exposure and with time-lapsed as well.  My interests subsequently expands to macro, Black & White, portrait, nature, birds, sports, street and become very wide.  I continued to explore new area and perspective with photography.

My latest favorite is taking aerial photography with drone and videography.  I continue to explore how to tell a story from my photo or video.   Not just capturing photo or video, I also learned how to edit them for post-processing and leveraging on social media platform for various audiences.

My favorites place to go in Singapore are the various nature parks and reservoirs in SG (incl. Gardens by the Bays, Lower Seletar Reservoir, etc ) and many local events & festivals (CNY light-up, National Day deco, Christmas Day Lights-up, Vesak Day celebration, Thaipusam, Deepavali lights-up, etc.)  I also took overseas photo whenever opportunity arrives and look forward for more overseas trips. Some of my overseas photos are in countries like : Malaysia, Taiwan, Xiapu/China, Batam/Indonesia.

I still believe a good photo tell a thousand words.  And the eyes of photographer  is to continue to discover the beauty or moments of the world he see.
