Welcome to Association of Photographic Artists Singapore
APAS strives to promote the art of photography in Singapore, and specifically to achieve the following objectives:
Promote photography as an art form for enthusiasts.
Promote competitive photography at the various level.
Promote the culture of photography exhibition.
Build rapport and relationship with various photographic organizations.

A further principal objective is to provide the opportunity for contact through meetings, the organisation of workshops, seminars, photography exhibitions and distinction accreditation.

 

Asia Super 12 Circuits

APAS endorses the Asia Super 12 Circuits (www.as12c.com) which runs monthly. Photographers shall submit their works and stand a chance to win one of the 696 awards in each Circuit. Pit your images against some of the best in photography and win the APAS Gold medals. Based on points system, the annual top 10 photographers who achieved higher points shall be conferred photographic titles by Asia Photographers Union (APU). Images which won Gold medal have a chance to win the end of the year APU Golden Dragon Photo Award

Associate of Association of Photographic Artists Singapore (AAPAS)

The Associateship assessment requires the submission of a portfolio of 16 images. Applicants must show evidence of a creative ability plus complete control of technical aspects of photography. There are specific themes to adhere to, such as Visual Art, Nature, Travel, Applied & Professional.

Fellow of Association of Photographic Artists Singapore (FAPAS)

The Fellowship assessment requires the submission of a portfolio of 20 images. It is the highest Distinction given for excellence and a distinguished ability and personal style in photography. There are specific themes to adhere to, such as Visual Art, Nature, Travel, Applied & Professional. The emphasis is on the photographer exhibiting his/her unique style in his/her portfolio. This is the highest Distinctions in the assessment.

Honorary Fellow of Association of Photographic Artists Singapore (Hon.FAPAS)

Conferred by APAS to a photographer who has achieved excellence in their field of photography or provided great contributions to the promotion of photography as an art form.
